The TDP builds upon the TAPP's profile of your workforce to develop a strategic deployment plan. The TDP tools support your teleworking goals whether it is to reduce space, deploy workers or improve your bottom line. The Deployment Plan includes tracking and accountability tools to ensure that your goals are achieved.
If you are new to the concept of a Strategic Deployment of Telework, it can appear overwhelming. To simplify the process TCR has built the TeleWork Deployment Program (TCP) to eliminate the cost and frustration of "reinventing the wheel" and to build a research base to help you as your program matures. While the telework calculations are complex, the logic is not. Technology has advanced to the point that it is no longer a barrier, however the managerial apprehension about allowing staff to engage in telework remains. Although statistics indicate that most concerns are myths, they continue to dominate the issue. Because TCR believes that telework is critically important, not just to our employers, but also to our families, our communities and our national ability to compete, we have built a tool that demonstrates the economic benefit of telework as it applies to a specific employer's work force. It is hoped that the many economic benefits, once quantified, will offset the myths. |
